Cheese is our world! As such, our activities are not confined to traditional markets. Drawing on the full extent of ALPMA experience in the soft cheese sector we also develop interesting forward-looking solutions for manufacturers of semihard cheese.

Our subsidiary LTH Dresden has grown from its origins in plant manufacturing into a whey processing specialist. Whey was long treated as the "Cinderella" of cheese production. LTH Dresden develops solutions which give this "by-product" the attention it deserves as the basis of today's increasingly popular low-fat and high-protein foods.

We are equally active in the cutting and packing sector. Ever higher output rates and increasingly exact weights are a challenge to our development engineers and designers to pursue unconventional avenues in addition to classical approaches.

Our advances are not only of the technological kind but also geographical. Through a global agency network, participation at numerous international trade fairs and use of electronic media we are busy opening up new markets in the developing regions of the world. These include not only the Russian Federation but above all South East Asia and South America.
